ABOUT THE DESIGN
"Breakfast" is from an exhibition David created called Prompt Service. The show was a satirical commentary on artificial intelligence, where he painted 50 white on red “prompts for natural intelligence” intended to create a unique image in the mind of each viewer. Prompt Service was also an ode to the hand-painted farm-stand signs David grew up loving as a kid in what was then rural Castle Hill. $5 A BOX, HELP WANTED, and so on.

ABOUT THE MODEL
Cam became a mate when he turned up to see the Prompt Service mural and exhibition in Sydney in 2024 and, somewhat improbably, has remained a bestie ever since. 

Cam moves through the world with a forward momentum that tends to sweep others in, which is how David recently found himself drinking egg coffee with Cam in Saigon. Cam is also one of those rare people who manages to be good-looking without seeming to notice. He’s disarmingly kind in an old-timey kind of way, and yes, ladies, he’s single. 😂
