Vegetate is one of four pieces from a series of David’s called Middle Aged Spreads, featuring renamed breakfast spreads Vegetate (Vegemite), Procrastinate (Promite), Masturbate (Marmite), and Bollox (Bonox).
ABOUT THE MODEL
David met Simon when he wandered into Sydney’s Hollywood Hotel to see David’s aptly-named show Man Walks Into a Bar. Things were quiet that day so when the two got chatting, David cracked open a bottle of red left over from the opening. They’ve been mates ever since.
